Welcome to the gorgeous Gorge

I grew up in Sweden in the small town of Mariefred, nestled around the 16th century castle of Gripsholm. Maybe it was this idyllic historical setting that gave me a lifelong fascination for the built environment.

At ten years old, my family moved to the divided Berlin, where I spent my teenage years. Another place of architectural significance, of a very different kind - a vibrant mix of historic and contemporary, east and west, energized by an unrelenting spirit of change - a true global metropolis.

After apprenticing to be a cabinet maker journeyman in Bavaria, and working on restoring a 13th century farmhouse in Dordogne, France, I first came to the US in the early 80ies.

Here I got into marketing, and spent 25 years working in client management with some of the most awarded ad and brand agencies in Europe and the US. Wieden and Kennedy brought me to Portland in the early 90ies, and I soon fell in love with the Pacific Northwest.

In 2017, I moved to The Dalles, and following a desire to work with the local community, switched careers to become a real estate broker. A perfect occupation for someone fascinated with inviting spaces who has owned and restored homes in several countries.

I am blissfully married to my best friend April. We have two sons, Cosmo the musician lives in Los Angeles, and Finnegan the student is at UofO in Eugene.

I would love to hear from you, and can’t wait to help you in the adventure of selling or buying a property. Let’s have fun together!
